Terminus

Country: Poland

Terminus is a side project of Maciek Szymczuk, created out of his love for techno and other styles of danceable music. His music, which he describes as "click'n'everything," features self-made samples transformed into entirely new sounds, incorporating clicks, hums, glitches, soft noises, space, rhythm, and simple melodies.

Maciek has been active in the electronic music scene, participating in the "New Sounds Workshop" (Cracow, Poland, 2002) led by Marcus Schmickler. He debuted on the V.A. compilation "Nowe:le" (VIVO rec., 2002) with the track "Uruk" and released his first full-length album, "Mik-Musik For Piano, Choir And Orchestra" on MIK-MUSIC in 2003. His projects include solo releases and collaborations like the AABZU duo with Zenial and the darker, heavier project ANOTHER ONE.
